Ulysse Nardin recently unveiled its latest creations: the Diver Net OPS and the Diver X Skeleton OPS. These two models mark a significant step forward in the brand’s sustainability ethos, combining cutting-edge technology with eco-conscious materials.
The idea for these timepieces goes back to 2020 when the brand introduced the Diver NET diving watch. Building upon this legacy, the Net OPS and X Skeleton OPS models represent the evolution of the brand’s Ops capsule collection, blending adventure, innovation, and sustainability into a cohesive vision.
The Diver Net OPS highlights Ulysse Nardin’s dedication to environmental responsibility. Crafted from 95 percent recycled stainless steel, with side parts and case back made from upcycled fishing nets and carbon fibers, this timepiece showcases a 44 mm case with a distinct marbling effect on the unidirectional rotating bezel. It also features a domed sapphire glass, an open sapphire case back, a Khaki green sandblasted dial, an embossed and satin finished ‘X’ Power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock, date and small seconds at 6 o’clock, Rhodium-finished indexes and hands with beige Super-Luminova, and water resistance up to 300 meters.
It is powered by the automatic manufacture caliber UN-118. The movement offers 260 components, 50 jewels, a DiamonSil escapement wheel and anchor, and a 60-hour power reserve.
On the other hand, the Diver X Skeleton OPS presents an avant-garde reinterpretation of a dive watch. The UN-372 model showcases a sleek black DLC-coated titanium case and a concave unidirectional Carbonium rotating bezel, a domed sapphire glass Black DLC titanium, an open sapphire case back, a polished and satin-finished ‘X’ shaped black PVD dial, barrel cover in Carbonium at 12 o’clock, black indexes and hands with beige Super-Luminova, and water resistance up to 200 meters.
The Diver X Skeleton OPS runs on Ulysse Nardin’s skeletonized UN-372 automatic movement, visible through its skeletonized dial. It features an oversized oscillator, an escapement wheel, a silicon anchor and balance spring, 171 components, 23 jewels, and a 72-hour power reserve.
Both watches come with a khaki green fabric strap with scratch-closing partly made from upcycled fishing nets, a Khaki green rubber strap with a ‘Ulysse Nardin’ black ceramic element at 6 o’clock, and a black ceramic and black PVD titanium deployant buckle.
The Diver Net OPS is priced at $13,300, while the Diver X Skeleton OPS is available for $7,500. These models are now available through Ulysse Nardin’s official website.
