Orient Express has teamed up with Milan-based design firm Dimore Studio to create ‘La Dolce Vita,’ a luxury Italian rail experience inspired by the ‘Golden Age of the 1960s.’
The train combines classic luxury train aesthetics with a modern edge. It includes 18 Suites, 12 Deluxe cabins, and one La Dolce Vita Suite. Dimore Studio brings its signature style to each area, designing them with bold colors, rich fabrics, and a mix of luxurious wood and metal finishes.
The Deluxe cabins come with mirrored walls, wooden slat ceilings, fold-out sofas that convert into a double bed, and private bathrooms, while the Suite cabin offers a luxurious seating area with a sofa, table, and two armchairs in vibrant colors like terracotta, orange, and purple.
Guests also get the chance to experience fine Italian dining in the train’s restaurant led by three-Michelin-starred Chef Heinz Beck. The dining car is also luxurious with reflective chrome walls, mid-century inspired seating, and striped wall-to-wall carpeting.
La Dolce Vita Orient Express offers eight Italian itineraries, including trips through Tuscany, Venice, Portofino, Rome, and Sicily. For booking details and further information, visit the official website of Orient Express.
