Breaking: Shepard Fairey arrested in Boston for tagging property with graffiti


The man behind President Obama’s red, white, and blue “Hope” posters was arrested Friday night on warrants accusing him of tagging property with graffiti. Street artist Shepard Fairey was released a few hours later but no word on the amount of bail. He was on his way to the Institute of Contemporary Art for a kickoff event for his first solo exhibition, called “Supply and Demand.”
