The Lincoln Continental Concept has been unveiled ahead of this week’s New York International Auto Show, giving us a glimpse into the future of Lincoln and its iconic full-size sedan. The Lincoln Continental has always signified a sense of elegance and comfort, something that really looks to continue here with the latest model. It’s a solid mix of luxury and technology, making this the modern sedan Lincoln’s been working on and trying to get right. It’s powered by a 3.0-liter EcoBoost engine that looks to balance between power and efficiency. The concept features E-Latch door handles which tuck right into the clean beltline of the vehicle, allowing the doors to open at the touch of a button. Other key features include the Lincoln Concept’s LED matrix headlamps with laser-assist high beams and the SPD SmartGlass tinting sunroof. Inside the cabin, passengers are welcomed by 30-way seats and a premium Revel audio system. Look for Venetian leather and Alcantara on the seating and fine wood trim details throughout the interior. The best seat in the house goes to the passenger-side rear, where you can fully recline by moving the front passenger seat forward with the touch of a button. And from either rear seat, you can control the climate or the entertainment system via the mounted panel on the through-center console. From early looks at the Lincoln Continental Concept, we think the automaker’s done a great job at bringing forth a car that meets the demands of today’s society. The car will be making its debut this week at NYIAS with the official Lincoln Continental coming next year.
