Here we’ve got shots from Marshall Artist’s latest lookbook. Justin Bridges was behind the lens on this one and styled the shoot as well, showcasing some of the label’s latest offerings for the S/S ’13 season. The collection’s filled with a range of fabrics such as lightweight chambray and camo prints atop some mid-weight outerwear pieces. To mark the opening of the Daimaru Shinsaibashi Leica store in Osaka, Japan, Leica has released the X2 in a white leather shell with all the quality and detail the Leica brand has to offer. The X2 packs 16.2 megapixels and comes with a 24mm Leica Elmarit lens. Only 100 pieces of this limited edition camera will be available at the Osaka Leica shop on Wednesday, March 13th.

Louis Vuitton has launched its Foulards d’Artistes scarf collection in Tokyo with help from Olivier Zahm, editor-in-chief of French fashion magazine Purple. The scarves, designed by a group of international artists, made their retail debut at Dover Street Market Ginza this past Saturday with other LV stores getting the goods next month. Zahm also shot a series of photos of the scarves and brings more light to another photography exhibition he is doing at Tokyo’s Last Gallery, originally owned by the late Dune magazine founder and publisher Fumihiro Hayashi.

The Foulards d’Artistes collection is produced each season in collaboration with a specific artist, and for this edition New York-based Japanese creative Aiko was asked to create the new, graffiti-inspired prints. (via super)

Burberry has released looks at their Fall 2012 ad campaign and we have to say it’s quite different from the work we’ve seen from the British label in the past. This campaign celebrates Britishness, London and the Burberry heritage of weather protection in the most cinematic shoot to date, featuring a new cast of rising British talent – Roo Panes and Gabriella Wilde. It was shot at the iconic Royal Naval College in Greenwich, London, where the new Les Miserables is currently being filmed.

Oh, that’s nice. You’re looking at a new wide angle lens from Carl Zeiss — the Distagon T* 2,8/15. The German lens maker’s latest creation will be available with for Canon EF and Nikon F mounts. The lens can focus from just 25cm (10″) and offers a 110 deg and is said to be extremely quick. Other Distagon fixed focal lengths include 18mm, 21mm, 25mm, 28mm, and 35mm. Expect the 15mm model to entice photogs into architectural and landscape photography. It features 15 optical elements, including two aspheric elements and glass with abnormal partial dispersion to control distortion and chromatic aberration. It features an integrated lens hood and accepts 95mm threaded filters.

The price is marked at $2,948 with a release date set for May 2012.
