Vane x Sebago Spring/Summer 2012 Boots

Vane and Sebago continue their fruitful relationship with the release of three new boots as we transition out winter and look forward to the warmer months. The beauty is that these boots will work well year round, with a balanced mix of premium full grain leathers and waxed canvas quarterpanels. The Jungle Tactics Boot is a reinterpretation of the classic Vietnam boot and is lined with suede detailing.

The premium boots feature full grain leathers, waxed canvas quarterpanels, and slim, low-profile Vibram rugged outsoles. The Orbital Command Boot is a fresh take on a combat style moc-toe boot and comes with a set of removables spats that can be worn in combination with other footwear. The Camo Exo Boot is the Vane signature double boot pattern, featuring an outer digital camo print quarterpanel with perforated suede detailing.

The Boots are limited to 150 Pair globally, and are available at the Vane webshop and their New York outpost at 125 Rivington Street.

Ronnie Fieg for Sebago Fall/Winter 2011 Seneca Boots

Ronnie Fieg drops another momentous shoe as part of his ongoing collaboration with Sebago. This time, the designer’s opted to drop this whip stitch boot in two different colorways, both perfect for the cooler season upon us. The traditional Docksides outsole is dropped for a revised Campside sole, with a slight wedge in the back for added detail. The whip stitch on the toebox make the Seneca boot really stand out and when paired with the brown laces, it really turns out to be a special project. The Seneca boot is limited to 360 pairs per color and retails at $150 USD. Both colors will be today at 11am EST at Kith Brooklyn and Ronniefieg.com.

The folks at Vane have had an ongoing partnership with Sebago for quite sometime now. They’ve collaborated primarily on footwear but the duo have been known to go well beyond that as well. They recently opened the doors to the latest installation of their concept store in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

Celebrating a successful four year collaborative relationship, the Store will feature the limited-edition Vane for Sebago footwear collections as well as a assortment of inline Sebago styles curated by Vane. The shop will also continually release exclusive store-only styles designed by Vane, and will also stock exclusive Vane apparel and jewelry. The shop will house more than just Vane and Sebago merchandise as we scoped some rare finds in the form of vintage Rolex watches and vintage designer frames from Carrera, Cazal, Christian Dior, Ultra and more.

Sebago 1946 LTD. EDITION Boat Shoes

Sebago 1946 LTD. EDITION Boat Shoes

Our favorite New York footwear retailer Leffot is getting set to take stock of a limited run of Sebago boat shoes. “The Sebago-Moc Company was founded in 1946 by three New England natives whose first shoe was a hand-sewn penny loafer. Two years after the initial founding, Sebago-Moc began selling its leather boat shoe and they have been an American icon ever since.”

The LTD. collection will consist of three colorways, each available in eight pairs of whole sizes, twenty-four in total. That’s all, folks. Look for them to drop at select shops in May, including Leffot.
