Steven Alan presented his Fall 2011 collection to kick off New York Fashion Week and from the preview shots, we’ve got a solid lineup to look forward to. The styling is very outdoorsy this time around with items such as a mountaineering jacket, down jacket, and four-button blazer all added to the mix. The layering is really well done with cardigans and other fine knits playing a crucial mid layer role. We spied at least one pair of hiking boots so let’s hope they’re still relevant next fall.
nothing we haven’t seen before, but fun, wearable, with just the right amount of hipster quirk to give us hope the ‘street peeper’ might take notice. 😉
