Nigel Cabourn’s had a longstanding relationship with Japan as the brand has a loyal following there, stemming from the country’s appreciation for well-crafted sports and military-inspired clothing. August of 2009 brought the first concept and flagship store to Tokyo called THE ARMY GYM. It’s designed to look like an old army gymnasium with floors made of concrete and aged wooden planking with vintage army lockers to display the clothing.
Come February, looks like Nigel Cabourn’s men’s and women’s collections will be showcased at a new, larger flagship store right around the corner from the current shop. Expect all the goodness to continue, including in-store exclusives just in a more open space.
