Marni Spring/Summer 2016 Collection

marni-2016-spring-summer-collection-1

The Marni spring/summer 2016 collection is here. The range was clearly inspired by the 1970s, which is apparent in the designs and colors chosen. Mustard and royal blue feature prominently in the combinations as complemented by floral and geometric patterned shirts, woolen socks, and tribal-inspired sandals. The range was put together by creative director Consuelo Castiglioni, who coordinated the retro line. Marni’s trademark color-blocking remains prevalent in the collection as a result. The collection features exaggerated shirt collars, three-button blazers, loose shorts, oversized woolen vests, and wine-colored leather jackets.
