Italian firm Shaka Garage have reconstructed a 1985 BMW basic four-cylinder K100. The bike was nicknamed ‘Silver Gills’ and features an aluminum body that was handcrafted especially for the K100. It is characterized by its rough, almost industrial, look with sharp metal lines on black detailing. The bike has been painted as a homage to BMW’s racing heritage and it sports a custom drag racing-inspired side exhaust, which adds to its rugged metal appearance and allows for the 1-of-1 bike’s engine to roar when on the road. Check out the work of Shaka Garage on the BMW K100 in the gallery below. (via Highsnobiety)
