BRABUS Reworks Mercedes-AMG Supercar To Create 600 GT S

Car tuner Brabus is at it again, this time turning the Mercedes-AMG GT S sports car into a 200mph behemoth – all in time for the Frankfurt Auto Show which kicks off later this week. The upgrades bump the AMG GT S from the stock 503 HP and 479 lb-ft of torque to a massive 591 HP and 553 ft-lbs., enabling it to join the 200mph club with a top speed of 201mph. It also goes from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds. Surprisingly, much of the massive performance upgrade came out of an ingenious ECU tweak, which means the Mercedes-AMG GT S’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-L V8 engine still has a lot of potential. Other enhancements include a new set of forged 20” front and 21” rear wheels, carbon-fiber upgrades to improve aerodynamics, and a 40% lighter exhaust system. Interior edits were made as well, which you can see in the gallery below.
