Boston-based retailer Concepts has teamed up with Nike to create a custom Nike Free Trainer 1.0. Dubbed ‘Thermal’. The sneaker marks Concepts’ 20 years in the business and what a way to celebrate. Inspiration comes from thermal reactive materials, thermal cameras and sports science, with the end result sitting atop Nike’s Free Trainer 1.0 silhouette. The multi-color upper is blended with a white sole, while there’s dynamic Flywire featured throughout the shoe for added flexibility. Also, the tongue’s got thermal reactive material that changes to the thermal camera pattern along the upper when heated. This collaboration between Concepts and Nike is set for a January 16th release.
