There have been a number of notable Japanese brands gaining recognition over the past few years and none has been more revered than Tokyo’s Ones Stroke. The product has been consistently been some of the best available on the market as they focus so heavily on every single detail with a relentless desire for perfection. Meet their head designer Terunaga (Teru) Suzuki and you’re met with a tremendous blend of humility, respect, and passion for his trade. Their S/S 2016 collection embodies all these characteristics and as you hear Teru speak in the interview above, you get a feel for what drove the inspiration for next season’s collection as well as his thoughts on the brand’s position alongside his Japanese peers.
