With London Collection Men wrapping their S/S 2017 showings up today, we’ve had some time to reflect on all the lines we’ve seen the past few days and looks like Matthew Miller’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection is one of the, if not the, most wearable offerings from the weekend. The young Brit blends Skinhead culture with the works of romantic artist John Constable. The end result is a tough meets soft design ethos, giving us stand out pieces like denim jackets, denims, and soft layers. Oversized zipper loops and industrial details continue to be the designer’s signatures. Though the color palette features camels and subdued blues, there’s also plenty of all-black looks that looks pretty damn appealing. There’s a good mix of fabrics as well, ranging from fraying fabric, to a checkerboard navy silk that’s utilized in a handful of the pieces.
