Rick Owens presented his Spring/Summer 2017 in Paris this week, a collection that’s titled “Walrus” and functioning as a continuation of this coming fall’s “Mastodon” lineup. Inspired by the dual urges to change and to stay the same, the pieces range from tight, slim-cut tops to oversized bottoms. The leathers Owens is known for are cut higher and featured slightly elongated sleeves. T-shirts comes in various colors, including marigold, beige, and black, all draped irrationally. Look past the loose-fitting trousers and you might even catch a glimpse of the designer’s continuing collaboration with adidas, this time bringing for a white-soled running sneaker. Owens also does well with the formal pieces, giving us a strong lineup of evening wear options. Check out the complete run in the gallery above.
