At 2016 CES, Parrot unveiled a prototype of their first fixed-wing drone. Now, the DISCO FPV is complete and it has been added to the fleet of drones that Parrot is already known for. This drone is exceptionally fast, clocking speeds of about 50 mph and being able to fly for approximately 45 minutes. Made from highly-flexible polypropylene foam, the drone is durable and agile, using a single propeller to accelerate and navigate through the skies. Parrot outfitted this drone with a GPS, barometer, magnetometer, gyroscope and accelerometer, so it is definitely at the top of the charts when it comes to being hi-tech and intricate. The Skycontroller 2 gives you a clear view of all the action as you see through the eyes of the COCKPITGLASSES which feeds you flight data in real time in addition to its impeccable 1080p full HD visuals. With a triple-axis stabilized 90-degree wide-angle lens, the built-in camera lets you capture 32 gb of footage to look at later. Watch the video above and ready yourself for its September release, which will be priced at $1,300 USD.
