After months of speculation, Google has announced it’s latest Pixel smartphone. After throwing jabs at Apple during their introductory keynote presentation, they touted Pixel as having “the highest rated camera on a smart phone.” Pixel isn’t just about taking photos, though. The new smartphone has a battery that lasts all day, unlimited storage for photos and video (via cloud) and is the first phone with Google Assistant built-in. The Pixel, also available in an XL model, will ship with Google’s Daydream VR headset and features a Gorilla Glass display. Though the phone slightly resembles the iPhone line-up, make no mistake that Google has plans to compete with Apple; especially in terms of operating systems.
