A manor house in Paris was the backdrop for The Kooples Man F/W 2017 presentation, giving us a collection that pulled inspiration from rock ‘n’ roll, its many pioneers, and the legendary parties of the 60s and 70s. Think a blend of The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, and Johnny Cash. “After the Show”, as the lineup is called, is broken into six collections, each mirroring its release month by month through shops worldwide.
When looking closer at the pieces, there’s much to appreciate, from a suede jacket with studded detailing through the trimmings to pin-heavy leather and bomber jackets. Suits and blazers are cut slim (as expected) in soft wools and tweeds.
