Todd Snyder and Timex Develop Utility Ranger, A Diver Turned Field Watch

Todd Snyder has introduced another Timex collaboration, this time taking a diver from the sea and putting it in the woods. The result is the Utility Ranger, a mil-spec field watch with the soul of a back catalogue dive watch.

Based on the Timex Navi and inspired by the brand’s earliest diver watches, the Utility Ranger sports an olive dial in a 41mm gunmetal-colored case with the bezel and seconds hand finished in Timex’s signature blaze orange. The ballistic fabric strap also screams practicality. Utility Ranger is powered by a 21-jewel automatic movement with a 40-hour power reserve. However, it can also be manually wound.

Todd Snyder says, “I wanted to create a watch that was reminiscent of vintage field and diving watches… A watch that looked like it had been on its share of expeditions in the woods and along the coast.”

Timex x Todd Snyder Utility Ranger can be purchased for $259 through the Timex and Todd Snyder websites.
