Michelin x Bamford London Develops B347 Pilot Sport With Recycled Test Tires

The Michelin x Bamford London B347 Pilot Sport chronograph brings upcycling to a new level by utilizing recycled Michelin Pilot Sport 5 test tires for the 133-piece limited edition timepiece’s rubber strap.

This new take on the B347 Monopusher Chronograph showcases a rubber strap with unique yellow highlights that capture the tire’s tread pattern. Customers will receive the timepiece inside a custom presentation box that features ‘Bibendum’ or Michelin Man.

Michelin x Bamford London’s 41.5mm B347 Pilot Sport is powered by a Sellita SW510 automatic movement with the tachymeter scale bezel sporting a black and white checkered flag finish paired with Michelin yellow for the hands.

Founder George Bamford says, “What started out as a light-bulb moment, stood next to a line-up of Porsches at a car meet with a friend who works at Michelin, has developed into this stunning display of two pioneering brands. The racing-inspired design, lightweight carbon body, integrating the recycled tyre rubber and marking this by adding the tread pattern from their latest tyre – it all works.”

The Michelin x Bamford London B347 Pilot Sport chronograph is available now for $3,060. Head on to the Bamford London website to grab yours.
