JOOPITER Rises as Pharrell Launches His Own Auction House and Content Platform
Pharrell has announced the launch of JOOPITER, his digital-first auction house and content platform that serves as a space for community and commerce. The main focus is to give customers a premium auction experience while serving as a hub to find original imagery and video referencing each auctioned item.
The first collection, titled “Son of the Pharaoh,” is a 52-piece capsule collection of jewelry, fashion, shoes, and other items he has accumulated over the past 20 years. Some of the items up for auction includes his 18K gold Blackberry, a Jacob & Co. N.E.R.D. Brain Pendant chain from ‘04, a gold-plated Sony Playstation PSP, a “Black/Multicolor” monogram Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk, his “Womens Rights” Alpinestars Motorcycle Jacket, Swarovski crystal-covered adidas Stan Smith series, BAPE STA shoes in “Spongebob” Yellow Crocodile Leather, a gold-and-diamond encrusted G-Shock watch, an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Skeleton Calendar Platinum, and his striped Polo Shirt from the Lapdance music video, among others.”Son of a Pharaoh” will be available for viewing by appointment at a special auction preview in New York starting October 14th.
