NOMOS × Revolution Tangente Neomatik 41 Update ‘Resilience’ Takes on Mathematical Beauty

NOMOS, the Glashütte-based luxury watch manufacturer, just revealed its latest collaborative project with Revolution, the international watch magazine. The NOMOS × Revolution Tangente neomatik 41 Update ‘Resilience’ takes its influence from the Fibonacci sequence, a set of numbers where the next digit is always the value of the two previous numbers added together.

The new NOMOS × Revolution Tangente neomatik 41 Update ‘Resilience’ features minute markers with the corresponding first ten numbers of the sequence displayed as numerals, a 40.5mm stainless steel case, a midnight blue dial with white indexes and hands, an Yves Klein blue date indicator.

The NOMOS × Revolution Tangente neomatik 41 Update ‘Resilience’ is powered by the in-house caliber DUW 6101. It has a proprietary date complication with a double patented date mechanism, a ring display and bi-directional quick correction feature, 21,600 beats per hour, and 42 hours of power reserve.

The NOMOS × Revolution Tangente neomatik Update 41 ‘Resilience’ will have a production run of only 55 pieces, an ode to a number from the Fibonacci sequence, and carries a $4,100 price tag, excluding taxes. It is available for sale on both the Revolution and the nomos-glashutte websites.
