2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid | Most Powerful Cayenne Pushes 729 Horsepower

Porsche just revealed the second of three hybrid models for the Cayenne that Porsche will introduce this year. The 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid, available in SUV and Coupe body styles, gets an improved electric range and power, quicker charging, and replaces the previous Turbo variant.

The 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid exterior gets a Turbo-specific front fascia with larger air intakes, high-gloss black air blades, body-color wheel arches and lower rear fascia, brushed aluminum dual exhaust tailpipes, and red brake calipers.

Inside, the new Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid cars get aluminum trims on the dashboard and doors, a Race-Tex roof liner, a heated GT Sport steering wheel with a drive mode switch, and 18-way adjustable leather Sport seats. Optional 14-way adjustable leather Comfort seats are also available.

Under the hood, the 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid gets an electric motor generating 174 hp that supports the updated and revised four-liter V8 twin-turbo engine that makes 591 hp. Combined, the total system output is 729 hp and 700 lb-ft of torque. The new Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid model can go from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds, with a top track speed of 183 mph. The new Cayenne E-Hybrid models also have an adaptive air suspension system sporting a new two-chamber, two-valve technology, and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus. Optional features like the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control and rear-axle steering are also available.

The new Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid models also benefit from a larger 25.9 kWh high-voltage battery mounted underneath the trunk area with a new 11-kW onboard charger. Using a suitable wall box or charger, the battery has a charging time of less than 2.5 hours.

The Turbo E-Hybrid models are available to order now and are expected to be available at dealers in the second quarter of 2024. The 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid SUV starts off at $146,900, not including the $1,650 delivery, processing, and handling fee, while the Hybrid Coupe carries a starting MSRP of $151,400.
