GALLERY DEPT. x ASICS GT-2160 | A Splattered Collab for Sneaker Enthusiasts

In a groundbreaking collaboration between the Los Angeles-based fashion powerhouse Gallery Dept. and ASICS, the GT-2160 emerges as a true collectible for sneaker enthusiasts. Unveiling a fusion of creativity and craftsmanship, this limited-edition release captures the essence of individualism through a distinctive paint-splattered design.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the Gallery Dept. x ASICS GT-2160 showcases a blend of mesh, leather, and suede materials. It comes in a white, silver, black, and blue colorway, creating a visually striking sneaker that stands out. It features a blank white midsole and laces, jet-black trim, blue details throughout the heel, tread, and uppers, metallic silver ASICS branding on the mesh base, bright yellow co-branded Gallery Dept. hang tabs and the multi-color paint splatters on the midfoot and forefoot that reflect the artistic vision behind this collaboration.

Inspired by Gallery Dept. founder Josué Thomas’ own creative process. Observing how his ASICS shoes transformed with paint splatters during art projects, Thomas envisioned replicating the concept of individualism. The unique splatter patterns on each pair, achieved through a special production method, ensure that no two GT-2160s are alike, making them truly collectible.

Originally released as a ComplexCon exclusive, the GALLERY DEPT. x ASICS GT-2160 will be available on both the ASICS webstore, Gallery Dept., and select retailers starting December 15th, adding anticipation to the holiday season. The limited-edition pair retails for $295.
