NOCTA and Nike unveil the highly anticipated collaboration, resurrecting the iconic Air Zoom Drive for a 2024 release. The NOCTA Air Zoom Drive, part of Nike’s revered Alpha Project, first made waves in 1999. With the recent pics, Drake’s reimagining of this classic silhouette introduces a range of distinct design changes.
The NOCTA x Nike Air Zoom Drive ‘Black/White’ boasts a sleek monochrome color scheme, reflecting Drake’s distinctive style and NOCTA’s established design language. The perforated canvas mudguard gives way to a sophisticated clad-leather construction, providing a nod to the past while embracing contemporary trends.
The upper, a meticulous combination of ballistic mesh and ripstop nylon, features reflective mesh panels that add a touch of modernity to the silhouette. White accents, from the laces to the TPU plate and branded pull tabs, create a visually striking contrast against the dominant jet-black shades. The trident logo on the black heels pays homage to NOCTA’s unmistakable branding.
The NOCTA x Nike Air Zoom Drive ‘Black/White’ is set to drop in Spring 2024. Priced at $165, this exclusive collaboration will be available in men’s sizes at NOCTA, select Nike Sportswear retailers both in-store and online, and Nike SNKRS.
