Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Debuts White Lacquered Dial Variant

When Daniel Craig made his enigmatic appearance at the Planet Omega event in New York last November, the watch aficionado community was abuzz with speculation. Clad in a sharp dark gray suit, Craig sported a yet-to-be-released OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch with a striking lacquered white dial, setting the stage for a new chapter in horological excellence.

The OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional remains true to its iconic design, featuring an asymmetrical 42mm case stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal ‘sapphire sandwich’ construction. The watch features a bezel with the signature ‘Dot Over 90’ black anodized aluminum bezel ring, applied blackened markers with lume inserts, a domed, scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal with anti‑reflective treatment, a display caseback, and water resistance up to 50 meters. It comes with a polished and brushed stainless steel bracelet, and for those who want something different, a black perforated leather strap with red and white stitching or a black anti-bacterial rubber strap with a lunar pattern in positive relief on its underside.

What sets this new release apart is its exclusive white gloss lacquer stepped dial with applied OMEGA logo and indexes, a first for the classic Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional series.

Powering the watch is the manual winding Caliber 3861 chronograph movement, certified as a Master Chronometer by OMEGA.  It features 26 jewels, resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, and a 50-hour power reserve.

The OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional with the lacquered white dial, reference 310.30.42.50.04.001, retails for $8,100 on a bracelet and is available from Omega boutiques and select authorized dealers. For more information, please visit the Omega website.
