New Balance, the renowned Boston-based footwear company, continues to push the boundaries of style and comfort with its latest addition to the 1906L lineup. Joining its predecessors, the ‘Green’ iteration and the two Junya Watanabe MAN collaborations, is the all-new ‘Grey/Metallic Silver’ colorway.
The New Balance 1906L ‘Grey/Metallic Silver’ features a medley of mesh, leather, and TPU, adorned in a sophisticated Grey and Metallic Silver color palette deeply rooted in New Balance’s rich heritage.
A notable departure from convention comes in the form of a sleek Metallic Silver leather strap, a contemporary twist that replaces traditional laces, ensuring a snug, slip-on fit. Complementing the comfort-oriented design is a cream-colored foam midsole borrowed from the 860v2 model, coupled with a resilient black and Grey rubber outsole. While retaining distinctive elements such as signature toe box overlays and triangular midfoot panels from its predecessor, the 1906R, the 1906L introduces a refreshing omission of the iconic ‘N’ logo. A secondary logo graces the heel, adding a touch of understated elegance to the design.
The New Balance 1906L ‘Grey/Metallic Silver’ is expected to debut in 2024. This new kicks is expected to be available in unisex sizes at select New Balance brick-and-click stores and authorized retailers worldwide. Stay tuned for updates on pricing, release dates, and additional details as they unfold.
