Zenith, renowned for its pioneering spirit and relentless pursuit of excellence, unveils the latest addition to its Defy series: the Zenith Defy Skyline Chronograph. Launched as part of the brand’s presentation at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2024, this exclusive timepiece represents Zenith’s chronograph expertise and contemporary design ethos.
Since its inception in 2021, the Defy Skyline collection has been delivering noteworthy pieces. With over 20 references spanning various complications and designs, the Defy Skyline has captured the imagination of watch enthusiasts. However, one notable absence has been the lack of a chronograph-equipped model.
Responding to the demands of watch aficionados, Zenith has introduced the Defy Skyline Chronograph, a significant addition to the brand’s journey. This timepiece, with its faceted, octagonal 42mm stainless steel case, blends vintage influences with modern aesthetics. Its launch fills a void in the Defy Skyline lineup, further establishing Zenith as a leader in the world of haute horology.
The Zenith Defy Skyline Chronograph stands out with its unique design elements, including a dodecagonal bezel and signature star-shaped elements. The dial, available in metallic black, blue, or silver, features a captivating starry sky pattern, adding a celestial touch to the timepiece. The chronograph functionality is seamlessly integrated, with overlapping sub-dials and red-tipped hands. It boasts a water resistance of 100 meters and comes with a steel bracelet and a rubber strap, both with quick-change ability.
Powered by the El Primero caliber 3600, the Defy Skyline Chronograph delivers exceptional performance with a 1/10th-of-a-second display. The movement, visible through the exhibition caseback, features a star-shaped openworked rotor, 35 jewels, and meticulous finishing. This automatic movement is equipped with a silicon escape wheel and lever and a 60-hour power reserve.
The Zenith Defy Skyline Chronograph, priced at $13,400, is now available for discerning collectors worldwide. For more information, please visit the official Zenith website.
