Oyster Yachts’ Oyster 805 Punches Above Weight Class With 80-Foot Superyacht-Inspired Design And Amenities

Oyster Yachts, the renowned British builder of luxury blue water sailing yachts, introduces the new Oyster 805. The 80-foot model combines exceptional bluewater capability with superyacht design.

The Oyster 805 is designed in collaboration with Humphreys Yacht Design and features an updated exterior profile with iconic sleek lines and three sets of signature Seascape windows. It sits between the Oyster 745 and 995 Series II, and introduces large hull and saloon windows, custom interiors, and other optional features such as a day bar, on-board home gym, library, and private office.

The yacht’s foredeck is designed as a versatile social space with the cockpit featuring an integrated daybed, newly designed Wing seats, and a twin-access bathing platform for easy access to the water, dock, or tender. A fixed solar Starlight Bimini protects the central cockpit.

The new Oyster 805 marks a significant step forward for the brand. According to Oyster Yachts CEO, Ashley Highfield, ‘The Oyster 805 heralds a new era for our fleet. She combines our classic styling with superyacht thinking and innovation into an 80-foot yacht while delivering everything Oyster stands for: strength of construction, world-class craftsmanship, elegance, and the confidence to explore the world backed by our unrivalled global support services.’

Oyster Yachts also launches a series of initiatives alongside the new model to enhance the ownership experience and grow its audience. These include The Explorer Club, inspired by the Oyster World Rally, which will offer fully supported sailing expeditions to extraordinary sailing destinations, and The Bluewater Academy, which will provide practical training on Oyster yachts.

The company also revealed the Oyster 595 Series II, an update to its popular 60-foot model, featuring evolved styling, larger windows, and an upgraded interior and technical system.

The Oyster 805 new model will be built to order, with the first hull scheduled to launch in 2027. For more information, visit the brand’s website.
