Zenith Gives The Chronomaster Original Triple Calendar A Lapis Lazuli Update

Zenith introduces its signature blue hue to another classic timepiece, the Chronomaster Original Triple Calendar, now graced with a lapis lazuli dial. This release follows the debut of the G.F.J. and the 160th anniversary blue ceramic trilogy at Watches and Wonders 2025.

The dial, crafted from lapis lazuli, has a deep blue hue and gold-colored pyrite inclusions resembling a starry night sky. The naturally occurring flecks of these minerals make each dial unique. Silver-toned counters and a 1/10th of a second chapter ring offer a striking contrast and enhance legibility against the celestial background.

The complete calendar indications are thoughtfully arranged with the day and month windows at 11 and 2 o’clock, the date at 4:30, and the moon phase integrated into the chronograph minute counter at 6 o’clock.

The automatic El Primero 3610 caliber is powering the timepiece, a high-frequency chronograph enhanced with a 1/10th of a second function. The chronograph hand completes a full rotation every 10 seconds, which is indicated on the chapter ring. The movement includes a 60-hour power reserve and a stop-seconds mechanism for precise timekeeping.

A sapphire display case back showcases the movement, including a blue column wheel and an openworked rotor with the ZENITH star. Completing the watch is a blue calfskin leather strap secured by a stainless-steel folding clasp. An additional stainless-steel bracelet is included for versatility.

The Chronomaster Original Triple Calendar Lapis Lazuli is priced at $22,700. It is available on the brand’s website, ZENITH boutiques, and through authorized retailers worldwide.
