We displayed Penfield’s Fall 2010 lookbook just last week and you may have noticed leather vest in the imagery. It stood out to me then and we’ve gotten more information on it. It’s actually the rebirth of Penfield’s iconic Outback Vest in 100% calfskin leather, made to commemorate the brand’s 35th anniversary. The Outback first debuted back in the 70s and has become a staple style in Penfield’s winter lineups.
The contrast brown leather shoulder yoke, front snap closure, two insulated handwarmer pockets and premium 80/20 goose down insulation are all key features which pay homage to Penfield’s rich history. If you want one, get your clicker finger ready for September 15th, which is when the Penfield site will re-launch with its fall offerings.
