New York Fashion Week Men’s kicked off today with NYMD, a simultaneous showing of up-and-coming designers under one roof. It was previewed at last week’s Liberty Fairs tradeshow and now we get a full look at the work. One of favorites from last season was GARCIAVELEZ and the label refuses to disappoint. This time around, we get loose, layered silhouettes done up in soft fabrics like Italian silk wools and cashmeres. This season aims to shift away from New York’s fast-paced environment to seek renewal and reflection in the healing environs of thermal baths tucked away deep in the Alps. With that, we get pieces that are wearable, comfortable and the perfect blend of luxury meets function. Check out the looks below and expect GARCIAVELEZ F/W 2016 to hit select retailers in early fall.
