Ovadia & Sons SS17 Brings Hippie Culture Back

Ovadia & Sons SS17 Ovadia & Sons SS17

Ovadia & Sons SS17

Ovadia & Sons believes in a hippie paradise – a world with legalized marijuana and a strong music and street culture that permeates daily life. This sentiment was communicated in the brand’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection, which debuted during New York Fashion Week: Men’s. The line was spearheaded by twin designers Ariel and Shimon Ovadia and greatly influenced by Bob Marley and The Grateful Dead. Rasta stylishly meets New York in the Ovadia & Sons designs, which incorporate an earthy color palette with eclectic hints of red and orange, a layered aesthetic, oversized printed shirts and athleisure drawstring pants. Outerwear particularly dominates the SS17 collection with the wide variation – from texture to pattern to embroidery – of bomber jackets. Check out the collection in the gallery above.
