efiLevol Spring 2010

efiLevol Spring 2010

From The Fashionisto comes a look at efiLevol‘s Spring 2010 collection. The lineup channels pop icon Andy Warhol, bringing us a rather unique collection. “Although slim lines may prevail, the range takes from several points of interest that result in both clean numbers and the unexpected. An engaging pair of trousers balloon in a dramatic fashion, while the range is not afraid to be less than casual with wrinkled pieces that add interesting variety.”

Brian Wood Spring 2010 “Our Ransom is Love” Collection

Brian Wood Spring 2010 “Our Ransom is Love” Collection

From The Fashionisto comes Brian Wood‘s Spring 2010 lookbook, highlighting their “Our Ransom is Love” Collection. “Near impossible to pinpoint aesthetically, Brian Wood’s upcoming spring range shows his penchant for unpredictability. Leaving behind a dark season inspired by night stalkers, Wood gravitates towards a conservative silhouette that he playfully dresses with varied stripes and camouflage prints. On first observation, this may seem like a terrible idea, but paired with a genuine sense of style, Wood’s quirky pieces just may be on to something.”

COS Spring 2010 Looks [Sweden]

COS Spring 2010 Looks [Sweden]

We’re major fans of just about every single label coming out of Sweden at the present moment and COS definitely ranks atop the best. With plenty of retail locations across Europe, they’ve gained quite a following at their looks for Spring 2010 show us why. The lineup is one we wish American buyers could get their hands on but I’m sure someone will carry it in the near future.

Deluxe 2010 Spring/Summer Lookbook

Deluxe 2010 Spring/Summer Lookbook

Hypebeast turns us to the Spring/Summer 2010 lookbook for Deluxe. “Arguably one of the most comprehensive brands of 2009, Deluxe continues its timeless aesthetic with an upcoming collection for Spring/Summer 2010. Implementing the usual mix of classic and contemporary styles, highlights of the season include a simple varsity jacket, complimented by knits, denim, chinos, and lightweight outerwear, all reflecting retro 1950s Americana.” That varsity jacket is definitely a standout as something you’d find at a vintage clothing shop. Still waiting for that day to come, but this one will have to suffice for now.

Closed Spring 2010 Collection

Closed Spring 2010 Collection

Alot of Spring collections being unveiled recently and this one has to be one of our favorites. Closed brings a very casual yet captivating lineup as the balanced mixture of formal attire wrapped with relaxed fabrics is much welcomed. Faded colors, crumpled blazers and rough khakis all bring life to this collection.

Spring 2010: Hixsept “Drift” Collection

Spring 2010: Hixsept "Drift" Collection

French label Hixsept‘s Spring 2010 collection is entitled “Drift” with a deep exploration of water. The Fashionisto writes, “Hixsept’s designers Aurélien Arbet and Jérémie Egry were inspired by the idea of emptiness. Working around a minimal aesthetic that lends itself to thoughts of the wilderness, Arbet and Egry found movement in the way of lines and the draping of fabric. Breaking up the typical use of patterns with isolated spacing, Hixsept arrives at a collection that appears modest, but finds a compelling allure in the details.”
