Introduced is a full range of merino wool sweaters in a welcomed array of styles, colors and patterns. “The theme has been to introduce a bit of an under garment feel with the muted tones and thin sweaters. Brian Wood Spring 2010 “Our Ransom is Love” Collection

Brian Wood Spring 2010 “Our Ransom is Love” Collection

From The Fashionisto comes Brian Wood‘s Spring 2010 lookbook, highlighting their “Our Ransom is Love” Collection. “Near impossible to pinpoint aesthetically, Brian Wood’s upcoming spring range shows his penchant for unpredictability. Leaving behind a dark season inspired by night stalkers, Wood gravitates towards a conservative silhouette that he playfully dresses with varied stripes and camouflage prints. On first observation, this may seem like a terrible idea, but paired with a genuine sense of style, Wood’s quirky pieces just may be on to something.”

Opening Ceremony Spring 2010 Lookbook

Selectism turns us to some looks from Opening Ceremony‘s Spring 2010 collection. “Calling on photographer David Benjamin Sherry and Michael Elmquist, we are given a lively first look at their range styled by Benjamin Sturgill. Here a whimsical mixing of textures and prints is met by another portion of garments that are made vulnerable by a muted color palette. From soft pocket tees and cuffed shorts to shoe-lace cinched waists, the boyish collection is not devoid of options.”
