Sony has recently announced the successor to the already-great RX1R camera. The new Sony RX1R Mark II sports a new 42-MP full-frame sensor with a Carl Zeiss Sonnar 35mm f/w with T* coating. It also features 30% faster autofocus and the world’s first optical variable low-pass filter, which now allows users to tune their photos either to more sharpness or less moiré.
The Sony RX1R II also features a much-requested XGA OLED electronic viewfinder, allowing for eye-level focusing and composition. Sony’s new flagship compact will be available early next month for US$3,300.
