UBIQ has been a standing fixture in Philly’s fashion and culture scene for over 15 years and being at the forefront of it requires a constant pulse, a refined skill they’re showcasing time and time again. Their latest flex comes in the form of a capsule collection with The CXX, a contemporary menswear brand that has its roots sewn in Philadelphia as well. With Valentine’s Day just passing, we get a collection that’s inspired by heartbreak & betrayal, with hints of the two themes scene throughout all the pieces. But even with these emotions at play, we get a lineup that’s filled with a ton of color, being seen in various forms throughout. Look for a meticulously designed bouquet of flowers or just the presence of safety orange on some of the standout pieces. It’s tough to pick a favorite here but we’re digging the orange lightweight coach’s jacket and its embroidered “no hard feelings” detailing on the back.
The collection’s very limited in numbers and will be available exclusively at a special pop-up event this Friday at UBIQ and through UBIQ’s online store.
