HTC Lancaster: The QWERTY Android Slider Phone for AT&T

So you’re waiting to see when AT&T is going to enter the Android market, are ya? Well, that wait is about to be over as Engadget‘s uncovered some details of the HTC Lancaster. They describe it as having a Magic outer shell with a Touch Pro design scheme when slid open. As for specs, it’s packing triband EDGE and 850 / 1900MHz HSPA, AGPS, a 3 megapixel fixed-focus camera, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD expansion, and a “unique HTC social messaging user interface” that we’re hoping to learn more about very soon.

August 3rd seems to be the expected launch date but that can and probably will change. Check the spec shot after the jump.
