Patrik Ervell Spring 2010 Collection

Opening Ceremony’s taken their first shipment of Patrik Ervell‘s Spring collection, and were kind enough to share the looks. The 2010 CFDA Swarovski Award for Menswear nominee delivers all the pieces the designer’s known for but with a fresh and much-welcomed twist. Fabrics have been treated through the lens of decay: cottons are stained with copper oxide and iron metal shavings that have been left to soak in a saline solution for a week to create the mystically speckled pattern as seen perfectly-executed on suits and peter-pan collar shirts.
