Last week during the 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), one of the biggest unveils of the show annual show happened in a Mandalay Bay parking lot. Qualcomm hosted the first public demo of the FIA Formula E car and we were in attendance checking out the masterpiece in all its glory. Qualcomm has been collaborating closely with Formula E to create new technology experiences for the race series, with these new innovations ranging from connected fan experiences, electric vehicles, telemetry data and mobile interactivity.
The car itself is ready, ten teams are set to battle for the first ever Formula E championship, and 10 venues are locked into play host to the next generation of motorsport. The first flag will drop in Beijing in September of this year.
