Animal New York is reporting that the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh is opening a second satellite location inside Essex Crossing, a forthcoming residential-commercial development on the Lower East side. The Andy Warhol Museum New York presents “a chance to exhibit more of the collection to a wider, more international audience and to encourage more people to come to Pittsburgh to see everything we have as well.” Essex Crossing’s developers hope to complete the project by 2017.
