Toronto-based Vanhawks has introduced their Valour, the world’s first connected bike with proprietary carbon fiber technology. Performance tracking, security sensors and interactive feedback all help to really shift the way we’re accustomed to riding. With safety being the main priority, Vanhawks has integrated turn-by-turn navigation right into the handle bars to help you focus on the road. Low energy bluetooth connects to your smart phone for directions while LED indicators signal as you approach your next turn. Haptic feedback in the handlebar grips alert you by vibrating if there’s a car or any other object in your blind spot. The app on your phone even helps to display key metrics like your calories burned, distance traveled, speed, best times and more via the use of on-board sensors. The Valour comes in a matte black finish, comes in three different sizes, and is engraved with the production number. Check out the video below and head to Kickstarter to support.
