From Chicago comes Stock Manufacturing’s latest collaboration, this time as they team up with Alex Maier, better known as Superdanger. Inspiration comes from the “gritty, urban feel of 1970s crime classics like The French Connection, Get Carter, The Getaway and Serpico.” This collection exemplifies the stylish icons from each of these films, delivering pieces that sturdy but versatile. Two separate looks can be seen here, near-mirror opposites of one another. Designed to be worn as a “casual suit” look, the matching pants and jackets are each accentuated by a sharply contrasting popover shirt. However, swap one piece for another on either outfit, and you completely change the look, while still keeping that sense of cohesion. The Japanese floral pattern you see on the popover and on the inside of the jackets is french faced so that the colors are more subtle. Also expect the white oak cone mills denim popover to fade beautifully and add character over time. The Stock x Superdanger collection is available now through Stock.
