Lamborghini Asterion LPI 910-4 Hybrid Hypercar Concept

A day ahead of the Paris Motor Show, Lamborghini has taken the covers off their Asterion LPI 910-4, the world’s first gasoline-electric hybrid Lamborghini. It’s a plug-in hybrid that can go 31 miles on electricity alone. The powertrain fuses the Huracán’s 5.2-liter V10 (610 horses from here) and seven-speed DSG transmission with three electric motors (300 horses), giving us the most powerful Lamborghini ever. 0-62 time is quoted at 3.0 seconds with a top speed of 199 mph. Now that we’ve got the numbers out of the way, let’s check out its beautiful design. The sharp angles and big vents give it a strong stance as does the long front end of the hybrid hypercar concept. The blue shell contrasts well with the interior’s tan and brown details. Check out the images below to see how the doors open up more out than up. The all-wheel drive Lamborghini Asterion LPI 910-4 will make its debut at this week’s Paris Motor Show which kicks off tomorrow.
