Dropbox Paper is Dropbox’s New Collaboration Tool

Dropbox-Paper-Will-Help-Teams-Share-Ideas-Faster-00

Online storage experts Dropbox has announced a new collaboration tool that will help teams write together: Dropbox Paper. It’s still in beta testing stage, but we already know that it lets team members fill blank pages with words, pictures, videos, and other elements – all straight from Dropbox storage and external apps (including Google Docs). The goal is simple: To make it as easy as possible for creative teams to share information and ideas.

Aside from documents, photos, and videos (which turn into embedded previews), Dropbox Paper will also automatically format snippets of programming code, making it potentially useful for teams with engineers. Dropbox Paper will also let users use @mentions to notify specific team members. Holding everything together is the ability to create checklist items, letting teams manage their projects more efficiently.
