A new adidas silhouette is scheduled to launch tomorrow, and the sporting brand has teased its debut with three classic silhouettes that influenced its design. The new “NMD” silhouette was inspired first of all by 1984’s Micro Pacer, the first shoe ever to feature wearable technology. The NMD’s second inspiration was the 1985 Rising Star, with its removable, customizable cushioning elements.
And lastly, the NMD was inspired by the 1986 Boston Super, popular for its versatility as both a training and running shoe. Stay tuned for updates as we get more news on the new adidas silhouette in the days to come.
