Yesterday, Hiroshi Fujiwara announced the coming of a brand that is being curated by one of visvim’s founders and a member of the major lifestyle unit LOWERCASE. After much anticipation, we now know that CITERA® will be coming to an online retail space on September 1st. Former visvim co-founder Naoki Ei and LOWERCASE member Yoshikage Kashiwara are coming together to create a label that focuses on technical pieces that act as “Active Transfer Wear.” The highly modern and progressive garments are inspired by the short-distance journeys many people take in the midst of a bustling city, going from one place to another with urgency. While details of what is to come seem hazy, fans are steadily awaiting the arrival of something big that is sure to have a lasting impression on what we think of when we look at daily active-wear. With details of the visvim Ballistic Backpack slowly emerging, we can only wait and see what this hardened duo has to offer.
