Autodromo Releases Limited Edition Brian Redman DLC Prototipo Chronograph Honoring Iconic Racer

Autodromo continues to effortlessly blend their beautifully designed watches with pure racing heritage. This time around, they’ve released a limited edition version of their Prototipo chronograph watch which pays homage to race car driver Brian Redman and his 1969 Nurburgring 1000km race with team mate Jo Siffert. The duo ran a spare Porsche 908/02 adorning red and white colors of Austria, the same colors we’re seeing here on this limited edition Prototipo. The attention to detail is a plenty as Autodromo also went with a green centerstop hand, referencing the bright green accents on the race car. The caseback features a map of the Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit, which featured over 170 corners winding through the Eifel mountains. Autodromo’s Prototipo is powered by Seiko’s Japan-made hybrid meca-quartz movement.

The Prototipo Brian Redman Edition comes in special edition packaging along with a 42 page booklet hand-signed by Brian himself. 50 of the 500 pieces are offered in a DLC Black finish, which required Autodromo to bead blast the case and then coat it in DLC for a super matte black finish.
