The founder of AMBUSH, Yoon Ahn, teased the “Deep Royal Blue” Nike Dunk High collaboration, and now we’ve received a more in-depth look at the new design. AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High “Deep Royal Blue” offers a sporty royal blue, black and white pair of shoes with extended Swooshes. It’s the perfect follow-up release to the January AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High “Cosmic Fuchsia” from Ahn.
The Swooshes are inspired by motorcycle tailpipes and are one of the highlights of the design. They extend above the heel and are rubberized, which matches the black on the collar trim and waxed laces, while the tongue offers a foam construction and is white in color. The embossed AMBUSH text is located on the blue heel clips, and the blue outsoles and sail midsoles complete the design.
“Deep Royal Blue” is used throughout the shoes, including on the mudguards, heels, eyestays, and collar trim. This is completed with the white leather toeboxes, collars, and quarter panels. At the back of the shoe, you’ll find the top of the collar and the bottom of the heel extend beyond the leather middle piece.
The AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High “Deep Royal Blue” has already released through select retailers globally and will drop in the US on June 15th.
