Baume & Mercier have announced a new limited edition watch that features a miniature monochromatic painting from the artist Pierre Soulages‘ “Outrenior” series. The timepiece has the standard Hampton stainless steel case and features a more bold and moody design. It has a sapphire display case back for a greater sense of spectacle.
Baume & Mercier powers the Hampton Hommage à Pierre Soulages with the ETA 2892 which gives a 42-hour power reserve. The watch comes in all black with casings, screws, and a monochromatic background. It also features a black alligator leather strap for a unified look.
Only 102 of these watches will be made, but the watch is available now through authorized retailers for 5,200 CHF.
